Magas - Tatra - a habitat of S. montanum.

Yeah, but where is this?

Hungarian: Magas-Tátra
Slovakian: Vysoké Tatry
Polish: Tatry Wysokie
German Hohe Tatra
English: High Tatra Mountains / High Tatras
Slovene: Visoke Tatre

Magas - Tatra is just a Hungarian name for High Tatras.

High Tatras are a mountain range on the borders between Slovakia and Poland. They are a part of the Eastern Tatras Mountains.

Except S. montanum you can find there also Jovibarba globifera subsp. hirta var. preissiana. If do not this plant bloom, is difficult to find it.

Great website about the High Tatras at summitpost. You can find info about pretty much every mountain range in the world there Smile
The Tatras are very much like your Julian Alps or Prokletije.
