Monte Ghello Empty Monte Ghello

Monte Ghello is a habitat of S. tectorum.

Monte Ghello is close to Rovereto, it is a 515 m high hill in Trentino, northern Italy.

Photo from habitat and text in Italian language: http://www.custodiforestali.tn.it/Schede/fiori/Sempervivum%20tectorum.pdf

I wonder is this a true "wild" locality or is the plant growing there an escapee from a garden.
