Cassiopeia 3zb-cassio
Beginning of May 2008 (this particular rosette died back couple of weeks after the photo was taken)

Breeder: Martin Haberer, Germany, 1985

Some describe Cassiopeia as medium sized arachnoideum type of Sempervivum with some hairs on the edge and red in colour. This must be a description of plant with the same name from Carlo K.J. De Wilde.

Yes, to increase the confusion, there are two plants with the same name.

My plant is small, only 3 cm in diamether. But - wow - what a colour combination in spring!!!

About the name: CASSOPEIA is wrongly written name for thid beautiful plant!
