S. macedonicum from Ljubotin
This is a distinct form having flatter, lighter green rosettes with the inner leaves rather more closed.
This species is said to come from SW Yugoslavia. As you know, Yugoslavia does not exist anymore.
Ljubotin is a mountain on border between Kosovo and Macedonia, both countries used to be part of Yugoslavia.
Question is where is the habitat of the plant: Kosovo or Macedonia?

S. macedonicum was collected in Ljuboten by someone named P. H.Thompson back in 1937. The plant is now in Kew Royal botanical gardens herbarium.
