Debar road

Debar Rad in Macedoina (former Yugoslav republic) is reported to be a habitat of J. heuffelii glabrum.

By the way - this plant diffres from any other by that fact that has a blue hue / shine.

This locality data is incorrect.

First of all - it is imposible for a plant to grow on the road, close to it, maybe. But how close? 10 methers, a houndred? Where? Left side, right side? Which road?

Because secondly - there are many roads that lead to Debar...

Debar is a city in Macedonia, it lies in west Macedonia, close to border with Albania.

The road that pasts Mavrovo lake and snakes through Mavrovo National park along the river Radika to Town Debar could be the road in question here.



Debar is also know as Diber (in Albanian language) and Dibri or Dibra (old name). It is a small town with about 20.000 inhabitants, 67 km away from Ohrid and 137 km away from Skopje. It lies on borderline with Albania. The town lies at altitude of 625 m above sea level.

Mountains Dešat, Stogovo and Jablanica are close to this town.

And what about the habitat above Mavrovo lake?

There is one habitat under the road. It is above the lake (road goes past the lake) the habitat is about 1250 metres N direction in front of first houses of Mavrovo.
