Lago Sambucco in Ticino, Switzerland is a habitat of S. x barbulatum Schott (a natural hybrid between S. arachnoideum and S. montanum, that grows everywhere where you can find both parental plants growing together in the wild.

So this is also a habitat of S. arachnoideum and S. montanum. The plant grows there at 1.700 m above sea level.

Lago is an Italian word for lake.
