Route d'Annôt is a wrong name.
The true name is "Route de Annot" in french Alps.

This term is not precise and means "Annot road"

Today, I'm very happy because I booked my next holidays for 2009.
In July 2009, I 'm going to Annooooooot !!! Route d'Annôt Thumbsup8de

Annot is a little city in "Alpes de Haute Provence" in France.
In this region, live 5 sempervivum species:

J. allionii
S. tectorum
S. calcareum
S. arachnoideum tomentosum
S. montanum

Many names of this area are well known by semp's breeders: Annot, Gorge de Daluis, Gorges supérieures du Cians, Parc du Mercantour ... Route d'Annôt Thumbsup8de

In July, I lived 2 weeks in the very beautiful village of Annot.
I searched S. calcareum on the "Annot road" but without success.
This term is not precise. No Sempervivum lives near the road because humans make roads in mountains and destroy semp's habitats.
Rocks are too steep for a sempervivum.
I don't know if the S. calcareum "Route de Annot" live maybe near Entrevaux, near Meailles or near Rouaines but this plant don't live on the Annot road.

On the other side, I found S. calcareum and S. arachnoideum on the "Grès d'Annot", rocks above Annot village.
