Can anyone of you that speaks French explain the meaning, please.

it looks like ' (jove's beard-jovibarba) spider's cloth(fabric)' of course that is too literal--it just translates as spiderweb

I found

Joubarbe aranéeuse
and
Joubarbe-araignée

to be as well French folk names for S. arachnoideum.

"arachnoideum" : "aranéeux, arachnoïde" in french

but we often use the following names:

"Joubarbe-toile-d'araignée", "Joubarbe à toile d'araignée", "Joubarbe-araignée"
