Gran Paradiso Empty Gran Paradiso

The Gran Paradiso is located in the Aosta Valley region of north-west Italy. The peak is close to Mont Blanc on the nearby border with France, but lies entirely within Italian territory.

Gran Paradiso is 4.061 m high.

French call this mountain Grand Paradis.

Gran Paradiso is a habitat of Sempervivum grandiflorum.

Gran Paradiso is also the name of national park.

The question si if the plant is coming fromthe mountain or anywhere else in the park. Any idea anyone?

I don't know but many species live here:

S. grandiflorum
S. montanum
S. arachnoideum
S. tectorum

and many hybrids !
