Žitomirska
"Žitomirska" is a habitat for Sempervivum ruthenicum. This name is incomplete, as Žitomirska is an adjective. The complete name is Žitomirska oblast, which means district of Žitomir, the administrative center of this district. The town of Žitomir (Zhitomir / Zjytomyr) is situated in Ukraine, some 160 km west of the capital Kiev / Kyjiv.

Re: Žitomirska
Note: wrong name
I've got this S. ruthenicum ex Zitomirska / SU for years now.
SU obviously stands WRONGLY for Szovjetunió - which is Hungarian name for Soviet Union. Ukraine used to be a part of Soviet Union, but is an independent country since 1991.
Correct name of this plant would be - as Joop already said: S. ruthenicum ex Žitomirska oblast, Ukraine
