Mont Ventoux

Mont Ventoux in France is a habitat of Sempervivum calcareum and also Sempervivum tectorum.

Also S. tectorum grows in Mont Ventoux.

S. calcareum is pale yellow if hot summer
It's maybe a S. tectorum.
Have you a recent picture ?

For my next holidays, we go to Jonquières, near the "Dentelles de Montmirail" and "Mont Ventoux".
Where are you seen Sempervivum in Mont Ventoux ? Near the summit ?

Yes about the color of S. calcareum in and after hot summer. But october's nights are very fresh at Mont-Ventoux !

This week (11 january 2011), I go back to Malaucène village, and I go to the two stations in Mont Ventoux.
