S.x fimbriatum was first described by C.B.Schnittspahn and Lehman and it is a crossing S.arachnoideum-arachnoideum and S.wulfenii.

S. x fimbriatum includes:
- S.x roseum (Huter & Gander) ex Nyman
- S.x fimbriatum (Schott)

Wrong form of the name (I found them on the various web pages):
S. x roseum 'Fimbriatum'
