Why do they took photos of flowers?

Surfing the net, most often I see GOOD QUALITY photos of Sempervivum flowers.

I am one of the people that semp flower do not fascinate, I always wonder that person who took the photo/s have no idea that the rosette is the very best and beautiful part of Sempervivum ...

Showing how beautiful and various semp rosettes can be we will inform the amateur gardeners semps are worth growing.

Does anyone of you promote Sempervivum culture in your country?

I have a bi-lingual semp blog - in English and Slovene language - and I invite poeple to read it. Slovene people are - like many others - still sceptical and I guess the hardest thing to beleive for them is that there are more than 4.000 different known sempervivums.

Flowers can be useful in ID.
I had some labeled plants (bought in botanical gardens) which
produced flowers with colors not typical for this species...they were wrongly labeled

One's end is another one's start. If one semp must die so another one can be born; so be it. I know that semps can be multiplied with stolons, but... male mantis also know that the intercourse is the end of it all, but... Some things are tempting and irresistable even if deadly.
