Gamma Empty Gamma

This is how David T. Ford described S. 'GAMMA' in The Sempervivum Society Journal Volume 4 (1973), No. 4:

"(S. arachnoideum × S. tectorum) A rich red with tufts of hair on each leaf tip in the spring, quickly changing to green in late summer."

It's a lovely plant (I am very proud that I bought it directly in Arends & Maubach), but I think that you might have placed this topic on the wrong place as it doesn't really look like a heuff ... Or is this a test to see if anyone still reads the forum?
