The Arboretum of Kalmthout (Belgium)is a very beautiful arboretum with many rare species.
Jelena de Belder was the former owner (she is now deceased).
She created many cultivar of Hamaemelis

Jelena de Belder Kovacic came from former Jugoslavia, Serbia, if I recall it right. She married to Belgium. She was very popular here ...

What I did not know is that this is her "garden".
