Re: S. juvanii
A note on the plants in cultivation:
I think that most S. juvanii which are in culture originate from the botanical garden in Ljubljana. Strgar was director when he described the species. He recognised that it would be attractive for collectors and from then on the plant is cultivated and occasionally sold in the botanical garden. In this way it is available without the need to collect further plants from nature. These plants are often assumed to originate from Donačka gora. However, I found a note in prof. Wraber's book "Sto znamenitih rastlin na slovenskem (hundred interesting plants in Slovenia)" that Strgar grew both plants from Donačka gora AND from Resenik, which he then used for his description. So in order to know from which locality the cultivated plants are, I think that it is nessesary to ask at the botanical garden.
I believe that the plant in cultivation as "S. juvanii from Resenik" likely stems from a different collection, taken from nature at some other time (presumably illegal).

Re: S. juvanii
Jure Slatner confirmed that the plant in cultivation at the botanical garden from Ljubljana is from Donačka gora.
I have obtained plants directly at the botanical garden and from Erwin Geiger. To me, these two are indistinguishable.
About the plant from Resenik: see this topic: https://sempervivum.aforumfree.com/t137-resenik

Re: S. juvanii
Thanks for the photo, illustrator.
It seems, that the forum is almost not alive. Although there are many registered users, there is almost nobody with the taste to write. I visit this forum regularly, I read all the posts. I think, that the forum = discussion. But if you write a post and there is no reply for months, you lose the taste to write next post... I have also an facebook account, but I think, that the facebook is not the right way to discuss about the plants or to change information about plants. Facebook is not synoptical, there is only a little of information.
I also grow Sempervivum juvanii in my collection. The rosettes are beautiful. But I grow them in a pot in "hotbed." My hotbed is above the ground, the plants are covered with a roof. I have a luck to see Sempervivum juvanii in the nature:
Donačka gora:

Re: S. juvanii
I hope to go there some time this year, because it is the only Slovenian semp-taxon which i have not yet seen in nature. I obtained the plants on the photo at the Botanical garden from Ljubljana, which means that they originate from Strgar, who described the (sub)species, so they are same clone as the type. I also have one which I obtained from Erwin Geiger, but I suspect that this is also the same clone.
The rock on your photo looks less impossibly steep as is written on some descriptions of the site ...
About the forum: I like to help making this an even better source of information than it is already. I use the forum often to look up plants and also read all posts and learn a lot while observing these plants both in my collection and in nature. But I am more and more turning to the german forum, because it is more alive, and despite that I am more fluent in English.

Re: S. juvanii
It was very exhausting to find the habitat of Sempervivum juvanii. You know, that it should grow there on Donačka gora, but you can not find the plants. The rock is steep, the second part of the rock is vertical.

Re: S. juvanii
There is no Sempervivum juvanii in Your picture, Chromaphyo. The rosette belongs to Sempervivum wulfenii. Why? The rosette leaves of Sempervivum juvanii are much more wider in the upper third. Both sides of the leaves of Sempervivum juvanii are densely ciliate. Sempervivum juvanii grows only in Slovenia.
I know that the habitat Riegesburg in Austria is a bit questionable. But there was nobody to explore this habitat thoroughly.
