Re: Known habitats of J. hirta in Croatia
Thank you so much for this info Renata!
I would just like to add that correct name is Ivanšćica, and
name Ivančica is incorrect but it's widely used. This name Ivančica must be dearer to Croatian people
because it's more easy to pronounce and it's also word for a daisy.
Also, castle Belecgrad is on the slopes of the same mountain.

Re: Known habitats of J. hirta in Croatia
Thank You for the data, Renata.
I have looked for Jovibarba hirta by Kalnik, but I did not find them. I explored the bigger part of the hill with the TV tower, I explored the upper part of the castle and the entry to the castle.
I think, that they can grow there. There are many suitable places for Jovibarba hirta. These places are quite large, the searching of Jovibarba hirta takes a lot of time there.

So surprised you didn't find them. I really hope they are just hiding (and not extinct).
This place is mentioned as a habitat. I also have a plan to research more about this and nearby habitats.

Re: Known habitats of J. hirta in Croatia
The area of stones and rocks suitable for Jovibarba hirta is very large there. It is not possible to explore it during two hours. And I can also miss them, it is also possible.
The place is very interestring, there is also nice view. I can recommend the visit of this place.
There are two pictures of this place:
The castle above Kalnik, I did not manage to explore the rocks right on the picture
The rocks above Kalnik, from west
