This is a wonderful source of Sempervivums and Jovibarbas in the UK. Howard and Sally hold the National Collections of these plants and their mail order service is very good. I have just bought their book and CD-ROM (arrived 8/5/2010) and these are also excellent. Would be suitable for both new collectors and more experienced enthusiasts.

please someone who is buying here to share experiences

I have bought from Fernwood on several occasions. They are very reliable and I have had good sized plants, clearly labeled. As they hold the National Collection here in the UK the plant names are almost certain to be correct. (There can be more than one National Collection - it is up to collectors to apply to be accepted. National Collections have to be available for visits and studies). Email enquiries to Howard Wills have been answered quickly. Like the majority of Sempervivum and Jovibarba growers Howard and Sally are real enthusiasts.

I've also bought plants from them, they were a decent size, very healthy and well packaged. Also, postage is free (UK) which is a bonus.

Which is, by the way one of the lowest for overseas orders!!! (There is a nursery in UK that will charge you 32 pounds for postage costs for 4 semps ordered!)
