Bansko Vihren - wrong!

J. heuffelii labeled as "ex Bansko Vihren" is to be found in some collections.
Bansko is a town, Vihren but is a mountain.
The town of Bansko is situated in the north - eastern foot of Pirin mountain, at 925 m above sea level. Vihren with peak that reaches 2.914 m above sea level is but the highest peak of Pirin mountain. Bansko is 160 kilometers away from Sofia and is favourite ski & snowboard destination in Bulgaria.

The locality name sounds a little mysterious indeed, but should read Bansko - Mt. Vihren. I know Renata will condemn the addition "Mt.", but this is just to indicate that not a village or town is meant, but a mountain and this is how Dr. 't Hart wrote it to me. It was collected by Henk 't Hart in August 1979 on the road from Bansko to Vihren in Bulgaria at an elevation of 2000-2100 m. and it received Henk's field number H 24836. Henk gave the plant to me and I later distributed it to Dr. Zonneveld and others.
So, this is in fact a plant for the category "between to places".
