Val Codera in Lombardia, Italy is a habitat of Sempervivum alpinum. Ther plant grows at 400 m above sea level.

Val Codera is a valley located in the province of Sondrio, 100 kilometers from Milan.

Sempervivum alpino is the Italian name of the plant.

S. alpinum is nowadays what we know as S. tectorum subp. tectorum.
