Re: Domogled
There is also a report of S. tectorum locality at Domogled mountains in Romania. The plant grows at 1.000 m a.s.l. on limestone rocks.
Geo datas of this locality:
44°52‟36” N
22°26‟18” E
Is this a case of wronh ID or what?

Re: Domogled
I have been at Domogled mountain. It is possible to finde there:
Jovibarba heuffelii var. glabra
Jovibarba heuffelii var. heuffelii (both varieties are growing at Domogled, more plants of Jovibarba heuffelii var. heuffelii grows higher, in the nearby of the top of the mountain)
Sempervivum marmoreum var. assimile (I am using "var.", because there are not so big differences to create the name with "subsp."; the name with "var." is based on the old definition of subsp. - the condition for subsp. are not filled)
Now the other names:
Sempervivum tectorum do not grow there.
Sempervivum marmoreum subsp. assimile is the synonym for Sempervivum marmoreum var. marmoreum (the leaves of the rosettes are bald, but the plant at Domogled have the leaves with many trichomes)
Sempervivum marmoreum var. marmoreum do not grow there.
So do Sempervivum erythraeum - Sempervivum erythraeum grows only in Bulgaria, the plants in Romania marked as Sempervivum erythraeum belongs to Sempervivum marmoreum var. assimile; if you see the plants in the nature, you will see the differences - there are really huge
I have writte about Sempervivums and Jovibarbas at Domogled in the forum of sempervivum-liste.de (Jovibarba heuffelii - Domogled and Sempervivum sp. - Domogled)
