Alborz Mountains

S. iranicum is to be found growing in the wild in so called Jahan Nama Protected Area in Alborz Mountains, Iran.

Jahan Nama Protected Area is located in the eastern parts of Alborz Mountains, with an altitude ranging from 800 to 3100 m.

The exact locality / localities of S. iranicum is unknown.

Alborz is a large mountain range stretching in the north of Iran.

Last summer, during my cycling trip I crossed this range couple of times and found some semps.
I think it's S. iranicum.

Plants were photographed  on a Chalus road, close to village Siyah Bisheh, in a canyon on 2270m.

Me, on a mountain pass on 3300m high above the canyon where I found Sempervivums. 
It's interesting that I found them in more 'green' environment than this.
