Re: My Little Growing Semp Collection
Speaking about labels ... some names are wrong.
Braunii - S. braunii Funck ex Koch (1835) - incorrect name for a species, a synonym of S. montanum subsp. stiriacum (Wettst. ex Hayek) Wettst. ex Hayek
Borisii - S. borisii Degen & Urumov (1915) = Sempervivum ciliosum fa. borisii
Calcareum - S. calcareum
Calcareum Greenii - S. calcareum cv. Greenii ???
Charioensis - no such cultivar or species ???
Classic - no such cultivar
Kindinger - S. kindingeri Adamovic, 1904 now S. ruthenicum subsp. zeleborii var. kindingeri Adamovic
Ornatum - S. ornatum hort. ex Correvon, 1924, now S. marmoreum subsp . marmoreum Praeger
Pilosella - no such cultivar ???
Rubicundrum - Rubicundum ???
Rubra - ??? rubra means red colour in Latin language
Tomentosum - S. arachnoideum subsp. tomentosum ???
I hereby ask other members to help us sort up the names.

Re: My Little Growing Semp Collection
Hey Renata, so the ones you say are unknown/no such cultivar could i just put unknown on the tag next to the so called name? and then the others should i just redo there tags with the correct names/spelling?

Re: My Little Growing Semp Collection
No, keep the name and datas about the source. Sometimes it happens that people figure up what plant is in question (= find the mistake in identity)! Just remember the name is doubtful.
I have many such plants myself, mostly from private collectors gained in early years of my semp-fever, when I was not paying any attention on sources of my plants.
