Description as given in The Sempervivum Society Journal Volume 7 (1976), No. 2:
"Medium rosettes, finely pubescent with a tuft of hairs at the leaf tips. More flattened shape and incurving rosette leaves, outer leaves maroon and the centre light green; the white cilia and tufts giving a frosted appearance."
