Kurzras Empty Kurzras

S. arachnoideum grows in upper Schnalstal, on north eastern slope of Kurzras = Maso Corto. The exact location is at 2.010 m to 2.100 m above sea level, in quadrant 9230/2, in the cliffs opposite the glacier cable car station.

This is aprox. 21 km WNW of Naturns = Naturno in Ötztaler Alps, Bolzano Province, Trentino - Alto Adige, Italy.

Village Kurzras (German name) or Maso Corto (Italian name) is located in Schnalstal at elevatuion more than 2.000 m above sea level.
