Hi,
I've been growing Sempervivum for years, but it was only this year I have started collecting seriously. I have obtained named plants from garden centres and mail order from Fernwood Nursrey and Sempervivum Nursery. My collection is housed in a 6 x 8 foot greenhouse along with my carnivorous plant collection of mainly Sarracenia and Dionaea muscipula clones, I also grow Drosera and Cephalotus.
I hope to make new freinds and obtain new plants via swaps on this forum. Also, it would be nice to see it a bit more active.
Here are a few pics of my collection:

Elliot, welcome! I do hope you'll find many new friends here! There are some members of this forum from UK, too.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Aparrently I'm not allowed to post pics yet" but this can not be true. There are no members albums in this forum, yes, but you can ALWAYS upload a photo with a help of free image hosting! So, we are expecting your photos anytime ...

Hi Renata, I've uploaded the pics with Flickr but I'm not allowed to post links for 7 days. If I PM you the links can you post them for me?

Hi Elliot and welcome to the forum. I am in the UK too and have collected semps and jovis for about 30 years (on and off). I am wondering why you keep your semps in a greenhouse? All my plants are outside and have been for many years. I think that you will find that you get much better colour and growth patterns if you keep them outdoors. You can also buy and keep lots more than you would be able to accommodate in greenhouse, which is a huge bonus!

Re: Elliot - West Midlands, UK
Hi Sue, I have them in the greenhouse because I like to have all my plants together and for the moment I have enough space. I'm sure they will get pushed out at some point when my CP collection expands, maybe next year I'll make some outdoor staging.
Renata, I've added the pictures to my first post now, thanks.

Your plants look super. I love carnivorous plants, too, but don't have any at the moment. Seeing yours in the photographs makes me quite wistful, however. I will have to think about getting a greenhouse!

Thanks! Sarracenia are great fun to grow, you could try a Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea. They are extremley hardy and can be grown outside all year, without losing their pitchers.
