Vitoša
Vitoša (Bulgarian: Витоша = Vitoša) is a mountain massif, on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Bistriško Branište (Bulgarian: Бистришко бранище) is a nature reserve on Vitoša Mountain.
S. marmoreum and S. ciliosum are native to Vitoša region.
Sometimes you will see habitat names written like:
- Vitosha
- Bistrishko Branishte
Bulgarian language has (like Slovene, Croatian, Serbian and Mecedonian languages do!) letter "Š", that is pronounced like "SH" in English. This (Vitosha & Bistrishko Branishte) are ON MY OPINION not correct geographical names - they should be written as Vitosa and Bistrisko Braniste if no letter "Š" is beeing used.
