'cause Renata linked to one of my semps pics. Liked the forums, and registered.
I am from Austria, living some 20km SE of Vienna, in the pannonic climate zone (usda 7b). Which means usually not more than 600mm precipitation, hot summers, winters with freezing on and off and quite often frost without a snow carpet. And lots of wind.
I grow semps in containers and in walls, never directly in the soil. And, I have to confess, I'm in no way a collector, I just enjoy their beauty and their tough attitude.
So, I would like to contribute with pics of semps growing here and there in a garden situation.

Don't worry, I'm not a collector of semps, I consider myself as grower of semps ! This gives me a feeling I'm not 100 % nuts about those plants! Collecting can be something that gets you out of any control, an unwanted behaviour it is!
As far as I know you are the first member from Austria! So welcome once again!
