According to authors mention before in this post (Karaer, Celap, Eggli) S. davisii has two subspecies:
S. davisii subsp. davisii
and
S. davisii subsp. furseorum
S. davisii subsp. davisii
and
S. davisii subsp. furseorum

The description of Sempervivum davisii Muirhead given by Peter J. Mitchell in The Sempervivum Society Journal Volume 5 (1974), No. 4:
"Rosette 3 to 4 cm in diameter, rosette leaves ovate to oblong-lanceolate with dense pubescence, 1.5 to 2 cm long by 1 cm broad. Flowers pale yellow. A colour plate on page 4 depicts this plant in late autumn, the rosettes are still quite small, about 1.5 cm in diameter."
