Biokovo is a National park in Croatia (Former Yugoslavia) near Adriatic Sea.

Biokovo is a mountain range in central Dalmatia, close to town called Makarska. It is 36 km long and up to 9,5 km wide.The highest peak of Biokovo is Sveti Jure (1764 m).
Biokovo is a habitat to Sempervivum marmoreum / montanum.
At Sveti Jure (Sv. Jure) there is acolony of Sempervivum marmoreum growing at 1.300 to 1.500 m.
Wrong form of name Sveti Jure is Svety Jure. In Croatian language ther is no letter Y, so name written that way is wrong.
