What do one mean when he is saying Sevan?
Hm, this is a hard nut to crack. Name "sevan" literally means "the black Van", referring to Van lake.
All this places with Sevan in it's name are located in Gegharkunik Marz province in Armenia.
was formerly an island in lake Sevan, now but a peninsula.
is divided into two sections: Big Sevan and Small Sevan. It is the largest lake in Armenia and it is located about 1.900 m above seal level.
The pass in question here is the one on the road from Sevan city to Dilijan, crossing the Sevan mountain ridge at 2.114 m above sea level.
is located on the shore of Sevan lake. It has about 20.000 inhabitants.
was established some 40 years ago to protect Lake Sevan. It is one of two national parks in Armenia.
