... this little creature causes Sempervivum leaves to grow in an abnormal way:

This is a fungual disease.

This pest lives inside the leaves. It is a parasitic species that lives only in Sempervivums!

On classification:

FAMILY: Pucciniaceae Chevall.
ORDER: Uredinales
CLASS: Teliomycetes
DIVISION: Basidiomycota
