Alpha
One of the first Sempervivum cultivars ever!
May 2009
Beeder: Georg Arends, Germany, 1927
Did all the Sempervivum madness started with Alpha? I don't now. But Alpha is surely one of the oldest cultivars, still wellcomed by many Sempervivum fans from all over the globe.
Parent plant: Sempervivum arachnoideum for sure, the other one was dark coloured plat, since Alpha has quite intense colour, especialy during cold months.
Though for some people name Alpha is simple, the other write iz wrongly, like Aipha, Alfa ..
