Žiar
Žiar (Ziar is not correct!) is a habitat of Sempervivum hirtum fa. glabrescens = J. hirat glabrescens, S. hurtum ssp. glabrescens.
Žiar is a village and municipality in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.
Žiar nad Hronom (name of the second biggest river in Slovakia!) is close to Banyska Bistrica – only 40 km away from this town.

Re: Žiar
Žiar nad Hronom is a smaller town with 30 000 inhabitants. The town belongs to Banská Bystrica Region (Banskobystrický kraj).
There are more habitats of houseleeks in the neighbourhood. I have been there in first half of July.
First habitat - the first hill - northeast from the town.
It is habitat of Jovibarba globifera subsp. hirta var. glabrescens.
The houseleeks grow on this slope.
Jovibarba globifera subsp. hirta var. glabrescens
Second habitat - the hill two kilometres far from Žiar - over the village Stará Kremnička.
There grow Jovibarba globifera subsp. hirta var. glabrescens and Sempervivum montanum subsp. heterophyllum
The top of the hill over Stará Kremnička. There are growing houseleeks on these rocks.
View of Stará Kremnička
Sempervivum montanum subsp. heterophyllum
Jovibarba globifera subsp. hirta var. glabrescens
These hills are the southern end of mountain-range Kremnické vrchy.
But there are more habitats in the neighbourhood of this town - castle Šášov, the valley near Lehotka pod Brehmi and other habitats.

Re: Žiar
I know, that you are doing yours best. I am interested in Slovakia and in trips there. I love this country, although it is 450 km from Plzeň to Slovakia.
I have corrected one of the photos - the view of Stará Kremnička, I have copied twice the same code.

Ups, you live 450 km away?! I thought you were closer! After all, Ljubljana is only 435 km away from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia!
However, the photos of a landscape reminds me a lot of Slovenia!
