Agri Dagi Empty Agri Dagi

S. davisii is to be found growing on Agri Dagi.

Agri Dagi, a mountain in Turkey is better know to us - western people - as mountain Ararat.

Surprisingly, plants from this region are labeled "Agri Dagi" - it's original name and that is the way it shoud be!

Turkish form of name: Ağrı

Agri Dagi / Ararat is 5.165 m high and this is the highest moutain in Turkey. It is loocated in north - eastern part of Turkey, 16 km away from borderline with Iran and 32 km away from borderline with Armenia. It is an inactive vulcano.
