This subspecies has narrower leaves, which are less pubescent and arranged in slightly larger rosettes.

Flowers are redddish, some descrivbe it also as carmine red.

You can find it in the Steiermark (Austria) and also in Hohe Tauren (Austria).

The rosette has a diamether of 4 - 5 cm.

Stolons are short and thin.
