Re: Sempervivum and Jovibarba species and cultivars
This is a great book; I have been referring to it for some years, to the extent that some pages are falling out. Their CD is also a very useful reference.
Fernwood Nursery were exhibitors at the BBC 'Gardeners World Live' event in Birmingham last week and had a spectacular display of Sempervivum and Jovibarba, as well as a good range of sale plants. I spent a long time looking at their plants, which they grow in single large clumps of a single type with occasional mixed plantings. But I was almost as envious of their huge display pots!
I would love to go visit their national collection some day... I hope as a specialist nursery they are not struggling in the current climate. They are such a valuable resource for the semp growing community.
