S. ciliosum var. borisii
S. ciliosum var. borisii vas first described by Degen & Urumov.
Globular rosettes are densely-haired, this is giving the plant a very attractive, white-icy-appearance, for wich it is much prized among collectors.
The flower-stem and inflorescence are almost identical to the type.
The prime habitat of this plant is Pancerevo near Sofia, Bolgaria.

Re: S. ciliosum var. borisii
According to Urs Eggli Sukkulenten Lexin - Crassulaceae the name S. ciliosum var. borisii is no longer correct.
S borisii Degen & Urumov, 1915 =
= S. ciliosum fa. borisii (Degen & Urumov) H. Jacobsen, 1958 =
= S. ciliosum var. borisii (Degen & Urumov) P. MItchell, , 1979 =
= S. ciliosum subsp. ciliosum
This plant ia a species and not a cultivar so it's name should not be written as:
Borisii
or
S. ciliosum "Borisii"
which suggest the cultivar is in question.
