There is much fuzz about the name of this cultivar. This might be the name that caused most problems however short it is. Some pople call it Rax and some even Hax, and well, Bax, too. All those three names might be wrong names for this cultivar!

Pax is a medium sized rosette with rosy tips. wide open rosetters are eye - catching.
Please note that there is a Sempervivum cultivar named Bax, introduced by German Volkmar Schara in 1998. How not to mix up real Pax and real Bax notwill be but a subject of another discussion.
