i really appreciate the first photo that shows the extent of the clump; i notice in that photo that near the upper right, there is a clump that is larger and greener--is that just normal variation within the clone, or would that be a different clone growing contiguously?

Hello Cohan,
clump near the top right of the photo are greener because plants are less exposed to the sun's rays, they are covered by grass
