Mark Smith wrote in The Sempervivum Society Journal Volume 2 (1971), No. 2:
"A plant found below the Rila monastery by Praeger in Bulgaria in company with S. erythraeum was described by him as a hybrid between S. ciliosum and S. erythraeum. A similar plant was collected by W.Th. Ingwersen near Rila in 1934 growing alongside S. leucanthum, so that, as Ingwersen has suggested S. erythraeum and S. leucanthum are the most probable parents."

Just wondering: why do you describe this as many different localities? Isn't it all the same place, with some steps up and down the mountain?

Well, here you mention a number of localities which you all call "Rila monastry", but with different altitudes. Would a small map be something? How would it be possible to put maps here without copyright violations?

As for maps, you can "play" with google earth, but they actually do not show much! I've tried, but on the end it was not what I was looking for.

Actually, I have a more philosophical question: when do you count a place as one locality and when as several? Like this we have a long list of tables which all give the same information exept for the species and the elevation. I have the feeling that the same information could also be put in one or two tables in stead of in 12.
p.s. I think that the elevation is written in the wrong cell (it is now written in "geocoordinates").
