Here is a record of S. tectorum collected at Monte Spaccato near Trieste, Italy about a hundred years ago:

Does the plant still grows there in the wild?

Slovene name for this hill is Gabrov hrib.

Monte Spaccato Be0385873f0b98528d28380bc2d93351 C' mon now!

The data about Mt Spaccato being a habitat is from year 1953. First the plant was found there growing at about 300 m above sea level in 1905. In year 1953 they found it growing at about 420 m (???) above sea level.

Monte Spaccato = Gabrov hrib is but unfortunately only 405 m high hill.

S. tectorum is supposed to grow there at elevation of 300 m a.s.l. on stony rocky slopes, and also at 420 m a.s.l. on rocky meadows.
