Ohnište

Ohnište in mountains Nízke Tatry in Slovakia is a habitat of Jovibarba hirta ssp. tatrensis that grows there at 1.370 m above sea level.

Another location of this species on Ohnište was found at 1.536 m above sea level.

This species grows there around Demänovská dolina (= Demänovská valley) - I think the lower part of the valley is at 900 metres. There are calcite rocks in this valley, but at the end of the valley there is the main ridge of the mountains. There is granite on the main ridge and there grows these plant too. But it is very diffucult to find them (except the period of blooming) it is about 1800 m above the sea level.
