Years ago I bought a plant labeled as Sempervivum x nixonii from a Slovene grower at a Ljubljana plant flea amrked. It turned out the plant's name is "made up" and that the plant is far from being S. x nixonii.

I really like the plant. I don't have very many specie varieties, most of mine are named cultivars. I have been trying to add more species to my collection.
