Ljuboten

Ljuboten in Macedonia / Kosovo is reported to be a habitat of S. macedonicum. Macedonia and Kosovo are two different countries (former Yugoslavia) and habitat written this way is definitely wrong.

Ljuboten, former Yugoslav republic Macedonia, is a habitat of J. heuffelii subsp. glabra.

In both lands - Macedonie and also Kosovo. The plants are growing on both side of the border.

There grows Jovibarba heuffelii var. glabra too. We have found one habitat at 1800 metres and another habitat in 2400 metres above sea level. These pictures are from the second habitat in 2400 metres, not far from the top of Ljuboten.

Renata, I agree with Your note. There does really not grow Sempervivum montanum on Ljuboten mountain. I think, that the plant is wrong labeled. The habitats of Sempervivum montanum are located in Carpathians and in the Alps.
