About the name: Achalm is a ruined castle located above the town of Reutlingen in Baden-Württenberg region, Germany. Achalm is located on the top of a hill at the edge of the Swabische Albs, the ruins of the 11th century castle are topped with a look-out tower from 1838.

Achalm je kultivar nemškega žlahtnitelja Martina Habererja iz leta 1985.

Rastlina doseže premer 7 cm.

Ime je dobil po gradu, ki je v ruševinah, in se nahaja nad mestom Reutlingen v pokrajinin Baden-Württenberg, Nemčija. Grad Achalm je bil zgrajen na vrhu hriba, na robu Švabskih Alp, in sicer v 11. stoletju. Danes se nad ruševinami dviguje razgledni stolp, ki so ga postavili leta 1838.
