The description of Sempervivum armenum Boiss. et Huet given by Peter J. Mitchell in The Sempervivum Society Journal Volume 5 (1974), No. 4:

"A tectorum like plant with glabrous leaves and a dark tip. Young leaves at first glandular heir. Flowers pale yellow or greenish."

"It is sligtly hairy."

"glabrous leaves"

So, a variable characteristic or just take the most recent description and hope that it is most correct?
