J. hirta v. glabrescens was first described by Heinrich Sabransky, Polish botanist (1864-1915) - abreviation Sabr.

Incurved leaves are heavily flushed with dark red.

The cauline leaves and sepals are glabrous except for marginal cilia.

Found growing in the Carpathians and north Hungary.
