Mecsek is a mountain range in southern Hungary. It is situated in the Baranya region, north of the city Pécs.

Highest "mountain" or shall we better say point is Zengő, 682 m above sea level.

Foreign names for Mecsek:
Serbian: Мечек (Meček)
German: Metscheck
Croatian: Meček
Names are written in different ways, pronounced are but all the same!
