Gerard Dumont listed S. tectorum to be found "alentours de Bohinj" - in translation this means " neighbourhood of Bohinj".

Bohinj is NOT a town or willage, NOR it is a mountain.

Bohinj is a geographical name for all this together:
- Zgornjo Bohinjsko dolino (upper Sava Bohinjka Valley)
- Spodnjo Bohinjsko dolino (lower Sava Bohinjka Valley)
- Bohinjsko jezero (Bohinj Lake)
- willages Koprivnik, Gorjuše & Nemški Rovt, that lay above the valley.

Bohinj is in southeastern part Of Julian Alps in Slovenia.

For what I know of Sempervivums in Slovenia, S. tectorum is to be found in various places in Bohinj (not in neighbourhood of it!!!), like Ajdovski Gradec and Studor.

Pictures taken today. I found S. tectorum in half-shadow under small Fraxinus-trees. many appear elongated and very green. A very different habitat from the dry karst in Slovenia, which I know better.
